10:53 AM - Intermittent AAPT Routes Flapping

We are currently seeing routes flapping with our AAPT link. Routes are coming up and down intermittently. We are in communication to resolve this with the AAPT Network Team currently and are not sure of the cause. UPDATE: Sunday 11:40am Issue has been confirmed as BGP issue from the AAPT End. AAPT Technicians are currently investigating however revised ETA now points to late Monday afternoon for complete resolution. BGP Sessions are flapping however routes remain constant and network has remained stable. If you are having network issues please submit a traceroute via helpdesk ticket and network team will investigate. Network Team.

01:17 PM - Network Congestion OPTUS - Resolved (resolved)

We are currently aware of an issue and are actively investigating. Issue started approx 1PM QLD time. Network Team is aware and is actively responding. ----------------------------------------- Update: We found an internal server had been compromised resulting in an outbound DDOS attack against multiple remote hosts. The compromised customer server has been quarantined from the rest of network and we expect no further disruption in relation to this issue. Our Network team is working towards ways to reduce the network impact when these events occur and automating the quarantine processes.
